Access Profiles
Last update: 2 years agoWhat is it for?
Access profiles serve to separate system resources, limiting them to a few users or granting full access.
Why does it need to be done?
With an access profile, you can control what each user can view, create, edit or delete within Taskier.
For example: a director profile can be configured to have access to all features, while a supervisor profile can view all demands only within the team he leads.
Access profiles are also flexible for clients, it is possible to define whether the client will only see the demands to which he is linked or all of the project.
When should it be done?
Creating an access profile must be performed once Taskier is purchased.
Who should do?
This action can be performed by the contracting user of the platform, or by users he defines who can access this resource through new access profiles created by him.
Where should it be done?

To create an access profile, click Menu, Access Profiles, Register Access Profiles.
In the Name input, you must define a title for the access profile that is easy to identify.
In the Type input, we would define Agent for our team members and Customer for users of the company we provide services.
In the permissions we have administrative functionalities such as Customers, SLA Configuration, Holidays, Service Groups, Organization, Access Profiles, Message Status, Task Status, Workload Type, Task Type and User, these functionalities are recommended more for managers and supervisors, so they can only give staff access to what's important. The other features are recommended for general use, such as:
- Workload: allows the user to manage the hours worked.
- Categories: allows the user to manage the categories of tickets.
- Tickets: allows the user to perform general actions such as registering, editing message status and transferring. In edit message status we grant permission for the user to move the card within the kanban board, thus changing the status of the ticket. In addition to the general actions, we have user actions linked to tickets, which if selected allows the user to perform these actions only on tickets to which he is linked. And actions of users linked to the service group on all calls: which, if selected, allows the user to perform these actions on all calls in the service group to which he is linked, including other users.
- Chats: allows the user to answer the chats and we can also allow the user to view the history of chats that he was present or that heview the history of all the chats of the service group he is linked to. Dashboard: allows the user to have access so that it is possible to follow the results of all the projects to which he is linked.
- Task: allows the user to perform general actions such as registering and linking other users, in addition we have actions of users linked to tasks, which if selected allows the user to perform these actions only in tasks to which he is linked and actions of users linked in the attendance group on all tasks, which if selected allows the user to perform these actions on all tasks of the attendance group to which he is linked
After everything is configured, just click on register and your access profile will be created.
